The donation is the latest in a series of humanitarian and community-centred interventions undertaken by the Foundation across Ogun State, and Nigeria at large reinforcing its longstanding commitment to supporting critical sectors, including healthcare, education, youth empowerment, and community welfare.
The generating set was officially presented to the management of the hospital during a brief handover ceremony. Receiving the equipment on behalf of the hospital was the Officer-in-Charge, Dr. Ayoola Zaheed.

He added that access to reliable electricity remains vital to effective healthcare delivery, especially in hospitals where uninterrupted power is required for patient care, laboratory services, emergency response, and the preservation of medical supplies. Receiving the donation, Dr. Ayoola Zaheed expressed profound appreciation to the IBD Foundation for what he described as a timely and impactful intervention. He said the new 50KVA generator would significantly improve the hospital’s capacity to provide uninterrupted medical services and enhance the quality of healthcare available to residents.

He stressed that contributions to public healthcare ultimately benefit the wider community, as hospitals remain indispensable institutions serving people from all walks of life.
The donation further strengthens the IBD Foundation’s reputation as one of the region’s leading philanthropic organisations, with a consistent record of implementing projects that address pressing community needs and improve the welfare of the people.
